LDAP in EPrints 3

After a couple of minutes of frustration using CPAN (specific errors like this Can’t use string (“CPAN::Tarzip”) as a HASH ref while “strict refs” in use at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5/CPAN/Tarzip.pm line 94.)
We discovered a rather neat way of installing the Perl modules we needed, WE USED YUM.
Simply typed
yum install openssl-devel
yum install perl-LDAP
I am sure that CPAN is a perfectly good tool but I found this to be a really quick and easy alternative (for those moments when you have YUM)
